Happy Birthday Jacques Cousteau

Jacques-Yves Cousteau

Today is the 100th birthday of Jacques Cousteau.

Few men have led lives as rich and full as his was; naval officer, explorer, ecologist, filmmaker, innovator, scientist, photographer, author and researcher, Cousteau studied the sea and all forms of life in water. He co-developed the aqua-lung and pioneered marine conservation, sharing his fascination of oceanic life in all it’s rich and diverse forms with the world, in the reams of film he and his crews produced and broadcast around the globe for over 50 years.

A year in Bramshill

In the last few weeks, life has been crazy busy, especially in relation to work; both the work I’m currently doing and the volume of work being offered to me.

I recently pontificated about this to a degree, but since then I’ve received two offers of RedDot work, both based in London and paying a rate that makes me salivate even now.

And I turned them both down.
